Receiving communications from BJJMetrics related to your account and platform updates.
You acknowledge that you have the right to access, correct, delete, and restrict the processing of your personal data, subject to BJJMetrics' legitimate business needs and legal requirements.

2. Age Verification and Consent
By creating an account, you explicitly confirm that:
You are at least 16 years of age or older.
If you are between 16 and 18 years of age, you have parental or guardian consent to create an account and share your personal information.
You understand that providing false information regarding your age constitutes a violation of these terms and may result in immediate account termination.
3. Profile Visibility
Unless you actively choose to enable "private mode" in your settings:
If your profile is set to public, it may appear in search engine results and be viewable by other users and the general public.
You are solely responsible for the information you provide on your profile. BJJMetrics does not take responsibility for any consequences arising from the public availability of your profile.
Scope of "Public": Once your content is in public mode, copies or screenshots could exist elsewhere and are not under BJJMetrics' control. Even after deletion or changing privacy settings, copies may continue to exist outside of BJJMetrics' systems.
Search Engine Removal: If you later switch to private mode, BJJMetrics cannot guarantee immediate removal of your data from search engine caches. Search engines update their indexes according to their own schedules, which may take days, weeks, or longer.
4. No Responsibility for Data Accuracy
BJJMetrics sources information from publicly available resources and user submissions. While we aim to provide accurate and current data, we explicitly do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, reliability, timeliness, or suitability of the information displayed on the platform.
BJJMetrics does not verify or validate the accuracy of profiles or competition records.
You acknowledge and agree that any reliance on the data provided by BJJMetrics is entirely at your own risk and discretion.
BJJMetrics reserves the right to modify, correct, or remove any information at its sole discretion without prior notice.
5. User Responsibility and Misrepresentation
By registering and creating a profile on BJJMetrics, you confirm and agree that:
You will only create and manage profiles representing yourself and your own competition record.
You agree not to create profiles or competition records on behalf of others without their explicit consent and not to misrepresent your competition record or claim other people's profiles as your own.
User Responsibility: You are explicitly responsible for ensuring the competition data you submit is truthful and does not infringe any third party's intellectual property or privacy rights. BJJMetrics is not obligated to verify the accuracy or legitimacy of any user-submitted content.
Any attempt to misrepresent information or create false profiles may result in the suspension or deletion of your account.
You agree not to impersonate other people or mislead others by providing false information about your identity or competition history.
You agree not to upload photos of an erotic, pornographic, violent, or otherwise inappropriate nature. Any such content will result in immediate removal and may lead to account suspension or deletion.
You agree not to engage in behavior that could harm the platform, its reputation, or its users, including but not limited to:
- Posting false or misleading information
- Attempting to hack or interfere with the platform's operations
- Harassing or abusing other users
- Disrupting the functionality of the platform
6. Comprehensive Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, BJJMetrics, its owners, operators, officers, directors, employees, agents, representatives, partners, and licensors (collectively, the "BJJMetrics Parties") SHALL NOT BE LIABLE for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses resulting from:
- Your access to or use of, or inability to access or use, the service
- Any conduct or content of any third party on the service
- Any content obtained from the service
- Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your content or transmissions
- Inaccurate or incomplete data
- Technical errors or outages
- Viruses or other malicious software obtained by accessing our services
- Loss of data or business opportunities
- Misuse of data by third parties
This limitation applies regardless of the basis of liability (including negligence), and even if BJJMetrics has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
7. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless BJJMetrics and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees) arising from:
- Your use of and access to the service
- Your violation of any term of these terms and conditions
- Your violation of any third-party right, including without limitation any copyright, property, or privacy right
- Any claim that your content caused damage to a third party
This defense and indemnification obligation will survive the termination of your account and these terms and conditions.

9. Release of Claims
By registering for BJJMetrics, you irrevocably waive and release any and all past, present, and future claims, liabilities, and damages against BJJMetrics, its owners, employees, and affiliates arising from or related to your use of the platform, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

By registering for BJJMetrics, you confirm that:
You have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this complete disclaimer, liability waiver, terms of service, and privacy policy.
You voluntarily and expressly agree to be bound by its terms with full legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use BJJMetrics.
